1 October 2016: Joomla! Festival in Milan! Last Saturday the Joomla! Festival 2016 in Milan, Hotel Melià: many enthusiasts of the Italian Digital Marketing sector came from all over Italy to attend the event organized by Webadvisor (of which our magazine is the official partner). The event was divided throughout the day into conferences, workshops and moments of contact between sector operators, who participated with great enthusiasm in the Milanese event. Among the protagonists of the event, the following stood out for their morning speeches: Francesco Margherita, with his speech on semantic vectors, Aleksander Kuczek who spoke about Joomla! and how to develop successful sites (and therefore make a profit from them) with Joomla! programs.
And very interesting was the interview with Administrators of Facebook Groups, who Find Your Phone Number in the Digital Marketing sector in Italy have obtained the greatest response in terms of users and engagement: among the most acclaimed were Fatti di SEO by Francesco Margherita, from Zero to SEO by Jacopo Matteuzzi and Startups are looking for web designer & developer by Luca Polpettini. In the afternoon of Joomla! Festival 2016, many workshops were organized to deal with the topic of Digital Marketing, in all its forms: from interventions linked to sectoral marketing, such as the one on food and tourism (Francesco De Nobili developed an interesting intervention which was much appreciated in the ); to Content Marketing (the interventions of Riccardo Esposito on writing an article, and Francesco Ambrosino on how to create useful content were fundamental); to Social Media Marketing, thanks to Serena Sarni's speeches on Facebook Ads, to monitoring and listening on social media, held by Silvia Gomirato, or the very interesting speech on how to use Telegram for business, held by Flavius Florin Harabor; interventions relating to the management of e-commerce are inevitable, which have become essential for a brand that wants to increase its profit by using the internet.
Many interventions then resulted in free consultations, held by the same speakers on the topics covered in the workshops. There was a large presence of operators in the High Tech sector at various stands, who provided information to interested parties on their products and services offered. The longest moment? The prize draw offered by the event partners! In short, Joomla! Festival 2016 was a crucial moment for our Digital Marketing, as it was perhaps understood that without collaboration and moments like this, it will not be possible to bring our country to the same level as the most advanced countries in digital technology and culture. Special thanks go to the organizer Donato Matturro and to all the Joomla! staff.
